Free Tommy and Welcome Trump Unite And Clash With Rag Tag Band Of Leftist Misfits: The Battle Lines Are Drawn
It has taken me a few days to assimilate the events of the last few days, which culminated in the Welcome Trump and Free Tommy rallies and their corresponding counter demonstrations on Saturday. The polarisation of the two sides is clear and they are facing each other across a massive divide. There is virtually no room for dialogue because the two sides inhabit completely different worlds. The battle lines seem ever more clearly drawn. It’s quite depressing really.
On the one side are the normal people, regular folk from all walks of life, who over the last few days have been united in their support for Brexit, Donald Trump and Tommy Robinson. They tend be mainly, although certainly not exclusively white, and many of them, particularly the ones on the Free Tommy demos, would describe themselves as working class.
As I said before, they come from all walks of life, though. They are just normal regular people, who care about their country. I pointed this out on the day in my short report Free Tommy Robinson Protest – Where’s the Diversity? Who Needs It Anyway? and it’s clear from this short clip here.
You can pretty much grab these videos at random and you always get the same story.
I’m normally most interested in the speeches but this time what struck me as most important was the coming together of the people after months of demonstrations in favour of patriotic causes.
I enjoyed Geerd Wilders speech and there were great speeches from a member of the Sweden Democrats and also a US Congressman, both of whose names escape me but the highlight was when UKIP leader Gerard Batten called Mohammed a paedophile. It’s great news for the movement that UKIP finally has a leader who doesn’t pull his punches on this issue.
Weirdos and Misfits
As I say in this post Anti-Trump Supporters Are Just A Rag Tag Band of Weirdos, Misfits and Leftists.
Perhaps I move in the wrong circles but I found relatively few homemade videos on social media of the anti-Trump protests so I had to rely on the mainstream. We’ve seen the misfits and weirdos so here is a typical leftist argument. He’s a bigot, warmonger and above all a racist.
Given the abyss between the two sides, there were bound to be confrontations between the Tommy/Trump side and the hard left members of SWP-backed Stand Up To Racism. It’s interesting how the mainstream media, in this case ITV, always portray our side as extreme right by cherry-picking their images.
Even more biased was the report in Metro entitled 12 arrested following violent clashes at pro Trump and Tommy Robinson protests, which even mentions Steve Hedley, the RMT union official, whose claim that he was a victim of an unprovoked attack by “Far Right Fascists” I debunked yesterday in my article RMT’s Steve Hedley Makes Inflammatory Speech at Free Tommy Counter Demo and Is Later Injured In What He Claims Is An Unprovoked Attack By Free Tommy Supporters
Sargon on the Fence
It seems to me that the battle lines a very clearly drawn and it’s a question of ne’er the twain shall meet. However, Sargon of Akkad insists that there’s a chance of talking to these people. In this first video, he’s talking to a BBC reporter and a variety of assorted leftists and it’s clear that there is no chance of having any sort of dialogue.
Even clearer was when SUTR and the police refused to allow him to film.
I quite like Sargon. He was an important part of my red pill process but I wish he would stop punching right. He seems to think that both sides are as bad as each other. They’re not.
The annoying thing is that when he eventually wakes up and realises which side of the fence he’s always been on, he’ll be welcomed with open arms and I bet the bastard doesn’t even say he’s sorry.
